Like a firmly set flag pole, my takes on US politics generally call for improvement to the overall system, towards best, via a Citizens Internet Portal (see the Tree Of Democracy designed to check and re-balance the three-branch government.)

As a Concerned Citizen exercising his freedom of expression while neither paying for fake followers, likes, or (social) shares, nor selling ad space, these messages are written with a reminder that the 1st amendment explicitly mentions the press, an industry that people are both willing to pay for, and pay others to suppress.

Although the courts decide what isn’t protected speech, the executive branch has been granted presidential immunity by the Supreme Court, and there’s no telling how far the next president may push the boundaries. It seemed odd that, at the time, both the current and former executive-branch administrations benefited from that ruling, potentially emboldening behavior that endangers safety such as a public assassination attempt, where such an event took place within two weeks after that ruling. Politics is dangerous, but it doesn’t have to be.

The current system still seems somewhat steered by collective interest as opposed to special interests. With a Citizens Internet Portal, the People should be able to effectively wrangle the main-stream media, lobbyist, civil servants both elected and appointed, and hopeful politicians on their way into elected office - all into a much better way of organizing public affairs - to where citizen voices and leanings are clearly stated and expressed.

"Yes We Can" can transform our public sphere positively and productively, and therefore we should! We The People can “Make America Healthy Again,” and achieve “A Better Way Forward” towards “Hope And Change” so we can all claim “We Won This” effort to “Make America Greater Than Ever,” by nurturing a Nation united online.

If we succeed by ‘effectively creating’ and ‘appropriately utilizing’ a Citizens Internet Portal, this #TechnologicalTreeOfDemocracy would be a gift to our current and future selves. Future generations would certainly appreciate the collective endowment, similarly to contemporary citizens appreciating earlier transformations including the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and even the Magna Carta. Interdependent upon each other, we can all lighten the load online with a better, more efficient system, so why not try? What’s there to lose?

Compared to current, the corporate main-stream media, special interests, and governmental systems run the show without a good way for the collective to ‘flex our will’ in-between elections and outside of courtrooms. Designing an effective system should be top priority, especially one without the MSM, mis-leading polling, biased agenda framing, bogus PR, annoying advertising, wasted time, money and energy conducting inefficient operations, plus whatever else that could be worse. US leadership should allocate the funds to connect all concerned citizens who opt-in, which financially shouldn’t be that much compared to other bloated budget expenditures, to see what We The People have to say, individually and collectively.

How would you set up a version 1 system? What’s the best way? Let’s assume the Federal government, perhaps through the Public University System, initiates a secure website such as Voice.Gov or Vote.Gov. It should be open-source so programmers can see the back-end and contribute their efforts to build, secure, and maintain the system. The front end will be open for all citizens to set up a personal profile with the option to participate in survey questions galore, generated by the admins, where users may also submit questions for polling. Voting should be un-official to start, however the goal should be to make the online system as secure as paper ballots, or more so, always with the option to vote in-person for official elections, and the option to abstain from voting altogether.

Forums and data analysis tools could be open for all citizens to utilize, including all media such as social, citizen, independent, and affiliated. With a simple ‘publicly generated and maintained’ internet-portal that displays how people feel on all public affairs, we’ll be far better positioned to move forward civilly, no matter who occupies the power seats. What else would you include in a new Citizens Internet Portal?

Hoping for peace and harmony, with liberty and safety!

Concerning current issues, it's sad to see what the system has become. It's strange to see the DNC taking such a fall, probably due to being compromised by the wrong, then corrupted by the worse. Trump represents the worst for many, but he does care about America more so than his DNC opponents seem to. Joe Biden should've gifted the nation a Citizens Internet Portal before he left office, but perhaps Trump will because Americans deserve an online platform to collectively ‘flex-our-will’ in-between elections, and thus empower the will of the people irregardless of who occupies the power seats.

Considering the presidential pardons - how embarrassing for the DNC that Biden gave his family, Fauci and others preemptive pardons that removes punishment from convictions including, but not limited to, war-for-profit and crimes against humanity, especially after he said he wouldn't pardon his son Hunter which he did, all while repeating the line "no one is above the law" when Trump benefited from the Presidential Immunity ruling. Sure he let out a lot of non-violent drug offenders, which many appreciate, but Biden himself helped orchestrate harsh prison sentences as a senator, and he didn't keep his word about legalizing marijuana which he should've pushed harder for. Yes Trump let out some J-6 violent offenders, but it was expected as they were in D.C. supporting him. Of course many people appreciate Ross Ulbricht being freed, especially the Libertarian community who pushed hard for that. Hopefully Trump sees the benefit of legalizing medical marijuana nationwide and decriminalizing adult use to where localities are free to decide if and how to license legitimate operations, with safe banking. Edward Snowden isn't imprisoned, but should be considered a national hero for blowing the whistle on un-constitutional NSA activity that affects all citizens, and would be welcomed home by many. Julian Assange had to take a plea deal to get out of British lock-up (without having been convicted of a crime,) which is a shame. We as a people can do so much better than current when it comes to the justice system, which is addressed in the book Better To Best.

Hopefully all wars end and peace ensues so humans can welcome-in a wonderful golden age, to where Creative Currency Octaves is best suited economically to handle a world where automation reduces the overall human labor requirement.

If better ways are possible, seek the best, then achieve even better!
